Going away on your first snow holiday, or looking to just have some fun?
A Series
Our beginners group of classes is called A series. These beginner classes will be mainly taken on our new slopes which are equipped with the latest Snowflex Surface and Magic Carpet Travelator Lifts. These are extremely user friendly for all grades of skiers and snowboarders. The purpose of "A Series" is to take complete beginners up to the standard that they can control their speed, do basic turns and use ski lifts and tows.
There are 4 Classes in A Series (A1-A4), and it is possible to book just one class or preferably the full series. The classes are taken in sequence - first A1 then A2, A3 and A4. Classes are 1hr 30mins in duration.
ALL EQUIPMENT - FREE OF CHARGE!!! We provide skis/snowboards, boots and poles for classes and practice sessions at NO extra cost. Just bring warm clothes, a pair of gloves and a sense of adventure.
YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A MEMBER to use our facilities but if you intend to ski/snowboard regularly there are considerable benefits as detailed on our Membership page.

Learn to ski in a day! These 1-day Learn to Ski courses take place on most Saturdays during the season. This is particularly convenient way to learn to ski if you are embarking on your first ski holiday abroad or if you live a long distance from the Ski Club.
Once successfully completed you will be able to use a lift, perform controlled basic turns, control speed and direction and stop confidently.
Courses start at 10.00 am on Saturdays and run until approx. 4.30 pm with breaks. Tea and coffee will be provided; participants should bring a packed lunch and arrive at 9.30 am to get kitted out.
The price for the 1-day course is €100 for adults, €90 for students and €70 for those aged 13 - 18.
Please note 1-day courses are physically demanding and are restricted to those aged 13 and over.
