Freestyle

Check out what you can do in the Dublin Mountains

Our freestyle nights at the Ski Club of Ireland are for people interested in trying something different, want to develop a whole new set of ski or snowboard skills, or just have some fun.

IT'S FREESTYLE BY NAME AND FREESTYLE BY NATURE!

The night’s main focus is on having fun and trying something new with friends. There are no structured lessons but our ´regulars´ are always on hand to help build the confidence and skills in the park.

We will always have at least one person to give demos and advice on various features and tricks.  If you need anything, just ask one of the guys!

There is no age limit as long as you can ski in control --- and have a Helmet !   We have a core group of 'regulars', starting from age 10 - old enough to know better!

Our features are designed with beginners in mind, so that they are easy to get on and off, and have a minimum risk factor. Once you have developed your core skills on both Jumps and Rails, you will pick up the rest very quickly by watching and joining in when others are working on new tricks. There are a number of features for the more advanced freeriders, and we are always adding new features to the park.

THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY

Friday nights from 8 pm are when it all happens. Often with music. The full park is laid out and is open to everyone --- even skiers & boarders together!

Note: Everybody using the slopes must have completed an Indemnity Form. The Ski Club's Indemnity form can be downloaded here. All those under 18 must have a parent sign their registration form at their first lesson or practice.
