Race Training

The Racing Squad

The second category of racing is more serious and comprises an active race group, which competes at home and abroad and  represents the Ski Club and the country at internationally  (i.e. FIS) recognised events.  This group involves racers, male and female, from “minis” (ages 8 to 11), to children (12 to 15), youths (15 to 18), and the Club’s top race squad and adults.  These race groups train at weekends under the guidance of our race instructors.

Intensive training of the race groups takes place not only at Kilternan but also abroad on snow, in snow domes in the UK and in the Alps
