Intermediate
Improver Series
For those who have completed our beginner classes, or have some ski experience on snow, we recommend the improver classes.
This series of four classes will help you to refine your turns, gain confidence and prepare you for more challenging skiing. The emphasis is on a lot of movement and confidence building activities and techniques. Our instructors will help you link your turns and prepare for more challenging skiing. These classes will mainly take place on our intermediate slope. Click here to see what you will learn and if you are ready for this level.
Intermediate Series
For those who have a little more experience the first two classes of the intermediate series tend to be the most appropriate. The intermediate classes are held on the main slopes and take you from confident plough turning to traversing with skis parallel, then matching the skis through the turn. We also introduce side slipping. The classes will have an emphasis on developing the posture and technique required to develop you into a confident skier on steeper slopes. Intermediate Clinic Classes
The Intermediate Clinic classes are tailored as much as possible to the ability of those attending. These classes are mainly suitable for people who have progressed through the Ski Club classes to this stage or had several weeks of snow skiing with tuition. People can build on the skills they learnt on their last ski holiday, and be ready to master the red and black runs with new skills and confidence.
These classes help the skier acquire the skills to permit unhindered development into good parallel skiing on steep slopes and prepare for Advanced Skiing. We run these classes on a continuous basis so you can just drop in and join at a time that suits you and as often as you feel is useful.
