Half Day Course
Presently not available unless you have a group who wish to try snowboarding for the 1st time, all participants must be at the same level.
The Saturday Half Day Learn to Snowboarding course is a particularly convenient way to learn to board if you are embarking on your first snow holiday abroad or if you live a long distance from the Ski Club. Once successfully completed you will be able to use a lift, control speed and direction and stop confidently.
Courses start at 10.00 am on Saturdays and run until approx. 1.30pm with a short break. Participants should arrive at 9.30 am to get kitted out.
Please note that due to the physical nature of snowboarding the minimum age for snowboarding is 13 years old, for the Half Day Learn to Snowboard course.
Snowboards & boots are provided at no extra cost though you are very welcome to bring your own. You will need to wear warm flexible clothing, gloves and waterproofs are recommended.
Note: Everybody using the slopes must have completed an Indemnity Form. The Ski Club's Indemnity form can be downloaded here. All those under 18 must have a parent sign their registration form at their first lesson or practice.
